Progress Report

Three months ago, we had a pretty clear idea of what we wanted to improve for Octodad 2.  Essentially, we wanted to reduce the barriers to entry, yet add different levels of sophistication that made it stand out from the original student-made project.  So far, I think we’ve managed to do a pretty good job on hitting those goals.

Octodad’s Top 5 Video Game Vacations: A Travel Log

This morning, I woke up to the sound of the door buzzer, and rolled out of the pile of rags and empty soda cans left from my run at Ludum Dare 22. When I opened the door, I found a package filled with postcards, notes, and photographs of Octodad enjoying his worldwide winter vacation. Seems that some octopus types don’t get along with the cold and snow of Chicago! Since he’s Octodad and all, he’s only bothered to visit lands that are mostly aquatic (a flooded castle basement isn’t gonna do it, the Dad likes oceans). I figured I would share his log with all of you! (at least until SOPA passes…)
